Tomorrow night at WonderRoot... People TV is proud to present another installment of its special ongoing project Sidewalk Stories. With funding from Fulton County Arts Council, this documentary features five unique perspectives that together show how people in Fulton County and other areas in metro Atlanta are determined to preserve their history, celebrate their culture and make their communities better for future generations. This year’s project participants include Adams Park, the West End, East Side Parks, the Community Justice Resource Center and East Point.

The monthly WonderRoot TV screening has been moved. The original screen of July 1 has been moved to July 8. We're doing this so all of you can come see the WonderRoot 48hr FilmFest screening at Midtown Art Theatre at 7pm. Come support WonderRoot!

Open casting for actors and actresses of all ages to appear in the New Lexicon/WonderRoot film for the 48 hour film festival the weekend of June 27-28. Actors must be available to shoot Saturday 9am - 2am at a locations inside the city limits of Atlanta. WonderRoot is very excited to host Clark Whittington… the creator of the Art-O-Mat… as part of our ongoing Dinner and a Discussion series Tuesday night June 2nd. Clark will be chatting with us via webcam about the creation of the Art-O-Mat concept and will be doing a workshop for those interested in creating artwork for his machines. Creating Art-O-Mat art is a great way to have your art distributed all over the world and in major museums such as the Museum ofModern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Artists also get paid for the work that they sell through Art-O-Mat. Please come by for this great event!!! Dinner and discussion is a free event including a potluck dinner!

Join us this Saturday for the celebration of the WonderRoot Community Arts Center One-Year Anniversary. Things will get kicked off around 4pm with a BBQ, the evening will feature and I Love Atlanta Art Show, Film Screening, WonderRoot TV DVD Release, and live music. $5 after 8pm. Hope to see you for this exciting day and thanks to everyone for making Atlanta a better place through art.
